Dentures Workflow

Visit 1: Impressions

Take an impression (alginate/PVS) or scan (STL file) of both arches and send them to our lab.

Visit 2: Bite and secondary impressions + Pictures

Use bite blocks and special trays provided by the lab to take a bite and a functional impression chairside.

Take pictures of the smile line, even if the patient doesn't have any teeth.

Note: This can be done with a bite block in place.

Visit 3: Try-In

Try in the denture design sent to you and let us know if there are any changes that need to be made. Sometimes, you may wish to make a wash impression if the suction is not present to the degree you wish.

Visit 4: Finish

Insert the finished denture, check the bite, extensions and fit. After this monitor your patient.

Note: If re-try is needed consider more appointments between visits 3 and 4.
